What we collect
When you use ReviewKit, we collect the following information:
Email address — Required to create an account via magic link authentication. Used to identify your account and send login links.
Scan metadata — We store the app name, category, score, and number of findings from each scan. This enables scan history and limit tracking.
App descriptions and keywords — Submitted text is sent to our AI analysis engine during the scan and is not permanently stored after the scan completes.
Source code — If you upload source files, they are analyzed in your browser. Code is not sent to our servers. Only code pattern results (not the code itself) are included in the AI analysis request.
Screenshots — Uploaded screenshots are analyzed in your browser for dimension validation. They are not sent to our servers.
Third-party AI services
ReviewKit uses third-party AI services (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) to analyze app metadata against Apple's Review Guidelines. When you run a scan, your app name, subtitle, category, description, keywords, and URLs are sent to these services for analysis. No source code or screenshots are sent.
These services process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your data for AI training purposes.
Authentication
We use Supabase for authentication. When you sign in with a magic link, Supabase handles the email delivery and token verification. Your email is stored in Supabase's secure authentication system.
Data storage
Account data and scan metadata are stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in EU-Central region). We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. Upon request, we will delete your account, scan history, and all personal data within 30 days.
